Designed for the adult beginner or those that have thrown on a wheel in the past but want to “back back on the bike” and re-experience the joy of pottery making. Old clothes or apron recommended. 8-piece pottery tool kit available at Michael’s Arts and Crafts $10.00.

Clay Fun – Students 9-12

Three students only.  Monday 12 - 2 pm

Class emphasis will be hand building and will be project designed . Students will learn how to use clay to create objects of art while learning principles of design and decorating. Hands on experience will include making simple vessels, slab and mold forms, tiles, and glazing.

DIRECTIONS TO HUMMINGBIRD POTTERY: Take hwy 37 four miles South towards Mondovi. Turn west, (right) on Z for one mile to the stop sign. Turn left (south). Just past the fourth mailbox on the right is a dirt road that leads to my studio in the red barn. Park in the back of the studio. The entrance is in the front of the barn.
